ROLE SUMMARY
The Digital Bank Manager Intern will support the leadership and operations of Prima's digital banking division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech innovation, customer success, digital transformation, and Pan-African financial systems.
As a Digital Bank Manager Intern, you will be exposed to all functions of a modern digital bank, including platform management, mobile banking services, virtual client engagement, digital compliance, UI/UX coordination, product launches, transaction analytics, and customer acquisition strategy.
This role is ideal for ambitious, analytical, and digitally fluent individuals who want to learn how a digital bank is built and scaled across Africa.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Digital Bank Manager Intern will support the leadership and operations of Prima's digital banking division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech innovation, customer success, digital transformation, and Pan-African financial systems.
As a Digital Bank Manager Intern, you will be exposed to all functions of a modern digital bank, including platform management, mobile banking services, virtual client engagement, digital compliance, UI/UX coordination, product launches, transaction analytics, and customer acquisition strategy.
This role is ideal for ambitious, analytical, and digitally fluent individuals who want to learn how a digital bank is built and scaled across Africa.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
1. Digital Platform Management Support
- Monitor the performance of Prima’s digital banking platforms (apps, mobile money integration, USSD services)
- Could you identify technical or user experience issues and help in proposing solutions?
- Coordinate between internal teams (IT, product, operations) for smooth digital service delivery
- Support the development and automation of digital client onboarding journeys.
- I'd like for you to help me design FAQs, chatbot scripts, and self-service guides.
- Review feedback from digital users to improve UX across devices and languages
- Contribute to the launch of new digital products, including mobile savings, digital loans, prepaid cards, and diaspora deposits.
- Help coordinate the rollout process, monitor user adoption, and support promotional campaigns
- Compile and analyse user engagement, transaction volumes, drop-off rates, and channel performance.
- Generate weekly dashboards and KPI reports for leadership reviews.
- Use insights to support optimisation of digital banking processes
- Assist the Compliance and Risk team in monitoring digital transactions for KYC/AML adherence.
- Support digital audit readiness, system log reviews, and client data protection assessments
- Participate in cross-departmental task forces tackling the digitalisation of banking services.
- Contribute to policy documentation and process digitisation initiatives.
- Learn how blockchain, API banking, and artificial intelligence are integrated into Prima’s architecture.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Education:
- Final year student or recent graduate in Banking, Financial Technology, Digital Innovation, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines
- Specialised coursework or certification in digital banking, data analytics, or UX/UI is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of digital banking concepts, mobile money, and payment ecosystems
- Familiarity with CRM tools, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Power BI), and project tools (Trello, Notion)
- Basic knowledge of core banking systems, APIs, or cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Curious, proactive, and able to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills (English/French bilingualism preferred)
- Passionate about African development and fintech inclusion

- Understand Pan-African banking trends, regulatory frameworks, and innovation opportunities.
