Community Vision Group is a not-for-profit organisation that works to activate and nurture potentials for holistic transformation for a poverty free society. Our vision is to create a transformed community through shared responsibility. Community Vision is committed to providing solutions in four strategic areas: Support to quality primary education (School feeding and energy for education), healthcare service delivery (Hepatitis B campaign and primary care ophthalmology), skills training, and research. Our core programme is School Feeding and all others including research are allied interventions. This programme provides locally sourced healthy and nutritious meals to primary school children at their place of education. Our core programme does not only feed the child but improves local agricultural production and improves the income levels of smallholder farmers.

Key Responsibilities
• Dealing courteously and efficiently with Community Vision Group visitors.
• Supporting the Administrative and Finance Unit in organizing procurement – raising procurement requests and getting relevant procurement approvals.
• Supporting the Administrative and Finance Unit in the management of petty cash.
• Perform data entry, write reports, documentation, printing, and related research duties for grants. 
• Maintain a user-friendly filling and document control system for recording and tracking documents.
• Support the management of Community Vision Group programmes and donations/funds and organisational resources
• Be the first point of contact for all Community Vision Group Volunteers.
• Perform any other duty as deemed necessary by the Country Coordinator or the Founding President and CEO

Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences
• Advanced Diploma in Administrative studies, Business Studies, Accounting, Management, Finance, or any other related field.
• Experience in a similar role preferably in an NGO sector.
• Ability to process, handle and communicate matters of a sensitive and confidential nature,
• Ability to deal effectively with staff, clients, and external contacts at all levels.
• High degree of professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness, independence, reliability, adaptability, motivation, judgment, and flexibility.
• Ability to establish and maintain excellent work relations in a team environment.
• Proven skills in delivering work through efficient and effective planning and administration, including demonstrated administrative abilities, organization, problem-solving, personnel management, analysis and decision making.
• Ability to handle concurrent activities, prioritize work, and work well under pressure. 
• Pleasant personality with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint are a must.
• English Language competency is a requirement. Fluency in French is an added advantage.
