The Job Description

• Play a central role in our digital development team, contributing to the design and development of digital assets from short-lived campaign microsites to enterprise websites.
• Design and develop systems, sites, interfaces and APIs.
• Maintain a focus on UX and outcomes, as well as the code and implementation itself.
• Develop robust and user-accessible web applications, utilising modular design systems.
• Deliver excellent, proactive support of digital aspects of our work for an ever-growing roster of clients.
• Perform and schedule web updates as well as social media platforms updates.
• Work on digital prototypes, and finished systems.
• Test and QA code, including cross-browser and cross-platform displays and performance.

The Skills Required

• Knowledge of current web development technologies and design tools.
• Knowledge of testing, deployment, server provision and operation.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, SASS, CSS, HTML, ideally including use of modern frameworks such as React, Vue, Laravel.
• Experience with customising CMS platforms such as Craft, ExpressionEngine, Drupal & WordPress & WEBFLOW
• Proficiency in GIT and the ability to adhere to agreed working practices.
• Experience of Search Engine Optimisation techniques
• An excellent eye for detail, with the ability to meet deadlines, organise workload and work in a team.
• Must be self-motivated and able to take direction when asked.
• Ability and willingness to learn new techniques, technologies and concepts effectively.
• Knowledge and experience of front-end animation using technologies such as GSAP an advantage.
