Join Enko Education as an HR Lead for our schools in Yaoundé and Douala, Cameroon!
Are you a passionate HR professional, bilingual in French and English, with proven experience in human resource management? Do you have a talent for coaching and developing managers, combined with a genuine interest in contributing to an impactful educational mission? This role is for you!
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
As HR Lead, you will play a key role in structuring and developing our schools in Yaoundé and Douala. You will ensure compliance with local HR practices while supporting our managers in building their skills and fostering a culture of engagement and collaboration. Working closely with the teams, you will help boost their motivation, optimize existing processes, and promote Enko Education’s values.Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring compliance of local HR practices with Group standards and Cameroonian labor laws.
  • Training and supporting managers to strengthen their leadership and managerial skills.
  • Optimizing and effectively implementing group HR procedures.
  • Creating a stimulating and motivating work environment for the teams.
  • Providing local legal expertise, including drafting, analyzing, and validating contracts.
  • Uniting teams around Enko Education’s values and vision
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
We are looking for a bilingual (French-English) HR Manager with strong experience in human resource management, ideally gained in international contexts. You are recognized for:
  • Your pedagogical approach and coaching abilities: You excel in supporting and developing young managers, guiding them with care, and helping them acquire essential skills for their growth.
  • Your creativity and innovative mindset: You bring fresh, modern HR practices that foster engagement and collaboration within teams.
  • Your expertise in Cameroonian labor law: You have an in-depth understanding of local legal frameworks, ensuring HR practices are compliant and well-structured.
  • Your analytical mindset and adaptability: You can quickly assess complex situations, propose practical solutions, and thrive in a multicultural environment.
  • Your ambition and energy: You are motivated to drive change, implement positive transformations, and energize collective dynamics.
  • Your engaging communication skills: Both a pedagogue and an inspiration, you establish trust, unite teams, and mobilize English- and French-speaking stakeholders alike.
