About IFP-EH
The Institute for Professional Training in Humanitarian Studies (IFP-EH) is a center specializing in training, guidance, and support for humanitarian, community-based, and civil society actors. IFP-EH is committed to strengthening local organizations, professionalizing the nonprofit sector, and enhancing the quality and impact of responses in crisis or development contexts. In partnership with H2H Network, IHSA, and CPD, we are pleased to inform you that the Capacity Building Program for Local NGOs will officially start in August and will run until the end of October.
Selected organizations will be contacted in due time with the detailed schedule and participation guidelines.

Program Objective
This program aims to strengthen the strategic, technical, and operational capacities of local NGOs in order to:
• Structure their internal operations
• Improve their access to funding
• Develop relevant and sustainable projects
• Enhance their legitimacy and leadership at local and international levels
Targeted Organizations
We are looking for:
• Legally registered local NGOs or associations
• Active in fields such as humanitarian action, social services, health, gender, education, environment, rural development,digital.
• Have proven experience in humanitarian or social project implementation.
– Be active in at least one of the following regions: Littoral, West, South-West, North-West.
• Motivated to learn, structure their operations, and access funding
• Available for active participation over the 3-month program period
Important – Extension of the Call for Expressions of Interest
In addition to our Capacity Building Program for Local NGOs, we are pleased to inform you that we are also looking for organizations based in the Littoral, West, South-West, and North-West regions of Cameroon.
The goal is to identify and build a pool of civil society actors (associations, national NGOs, social enterprises, etc.) operating in these regions for potential future collaboration. This includes opportunities for joint project design, networking, and institutional, organizational, and technical capacity strengthening.
What the Program Offers to Selected NGOs
1. Personalized Organizational Diagnosis
• Analysis of strengths/weaknesses (governance, resources, operations)
• Identification of key needs in structure and funding
2. Practical and Strategic Trainings
• Project design for humanitarian/social initiatives
• Proposal writing and responding to calls for proposals
• Strategic planning and nonprofit governance
• Monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and accountability
• Resource mobilization and partnership strategy
3. Tailored Coaching and Mentorship
• Personalized coaching by expert mentors
• Support with internal documentation and legal compliance
• Assistance in drafting fundable pilot projects
4. Networking and Visibility
• Peer learning and exchange circles
• Promotion through IFP-EH networks and partners
• Recommendations to relevant funding opportunities

How to Apply
Interested NGOs must submit:
1. A motivation letter (max 2 pages) introducing:
– The organization, its activities, and challenges
– The reasons for applying and expectations from the program
2. A copy of legal registration documents
3. Any relevant documentation (activity report, brochure, website link)
