Description
We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Marketing Managerto spearhead our Heavy-Duty division. This is not a desk job. We need a strategic closer who understands the "language of iron"—someone who can navigate a construction site as easily as a corporate boardroom. Your mission is to dominate the Cameroonian market share for heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, forklifts, and mining equipment) by building elite partnerships with government bodies and private industry titans.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- Strategic Market Expansion: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing blueprint to position CAMCO as the #1 provider of heavy-duty solutions in CEMAC.
- High-Value Business Development: Identify and secure large-scale contracts with Tier-1 construction firms, mining operations, and government agencies.
- Tender Leadership: Lead the preparation of complex technical and financial bids for multi-million FCFA public and private infrastructure projects.
- Brand Authority: Elevate CAMCO’s presence through targeted industry events, demonstrations, and digital thought leadership within the heavy-duty sector.
- Sales Force Mentorship: Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing team of sales engineers to exceed aggressive quarterly targets.
- Intelligence & Analytics: Provide data-driven insights on market trends, competitor movements, and pricing strategies within Cameroon.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing. A blend of technical and commercial degrees is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven success in high-value B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role specifically within the Heavy Equipment or Construction industry.
- Linguistic Mastery: Bilingualism is non-negotiable. Absolute fluency in English and French (written and spoken) to navigate our multicultural corporate structure and local client base.
- Network: An established, "warm" network of contacts within the Cameroonian Ministry of Public Works, major construction syndicates, and the mining sector.
