JOB PURPOSE
To perform expert-level diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs) such as trucks, buses, and trailers. The Master HCV Technician leads complex technical work, supports junior mechanics, and ensures all vehicles meet operational and safety standards.

JOB PURPOSE
To perform expert-level diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs) such as trucks, buses, and trailers. The Master HCV Technician leads complex technical work, supports junior mechanics, and ensures all vehicles meet operational and safety standards.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR
ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR
- Conduct in-depth diagnostics of engine systems (diesel), drivetrains, hydraulic systems, brakes (including ABS), suspension, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Use computerized diagnostic tools and technical manuals to resolve complex faults.
- Perform major overhauls (engine, transmission, differential ) and structural repairs when necessary.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks as per OEM and internal standards.
- Identify potential failures and address them proactively.
- Ensure use and upkeep of heavy-duty tools and diagnostic systems.
- Recommend improvements in tooling or parts management for better service delivery.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Diploma in Diesel Mechanics / Automobile Engineering / Heavy Vehicle Technology.
- Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in HCV maintenance and repair.
- OEM certifications, Mercedes-Benz, are a strong advantage.
- Familiar with maintenance of tipper trucks, trailers, buses, or long-haul vehicles.
- Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) driving license is preferred
