ABOUT THE ROLE

As Principal Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Head of Analytics in quantifying data analytics initiatives and their results with a focus on ROI to report back to the business
• Leveraging data across the organization for maximum impact within our business context
• Working closely with leaders across product and business teams to help them achieve their KPIs by providing data-driven answers and insights into their operational questions
• Collaborating with the data engineering team to provide access to all required data elements (either raw or transformed) in an easy-to-consume manner for product and business partners.

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

• 7+ years of industry experience with data analytics
• Proven record of driving and productizing data-driven solutions for product, marketing, and operations analytics 
• Strong understanding of statistics, algebra, probability and mathematical optimization
• Proficiency in using data visualization tools to present data-driven insights to key stakeholders
• Proficiency in using Python or similar languages to access data from a variety of input sources
• Ability to distill ambiguous and/or complex business requirements for data insights into well-defined actionable problem statements
• Ability to implement data-driven analytical solutions in a phased manner in challenging data access environments
• Ability to partner and work productively with engineering, product and business teams and key stakeholders and empower their data journey
• Ability to execute on analytical product delivery roadmaps with well-defined deliverables, ownership, and communication plans

Nice to have

• Familiarity in applying machine learning to solve real-world problems
• Familiarity with optimizing costs on cloud computing frameworks such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP
