Poste proposé : Chief Finance Officer - Yaoundé
We are looking for a Chief Finance Officer.
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This role oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, investment strategies, and risk management to ensure the organization’s financial health and long-term growth. The CFO serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance metrics
- Manage capital structure, investment strategies, and financing activities
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team for strategic decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting teams
- Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to the board of directors
- Drive process improvements in financial operations, internal controls, and reporting systems
Profil recherché pour le poste : Chief Finance Officer - Yaoundé
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field (preferred)
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent (strongly preferred)
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in senior managerial or executive roles
- Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and risk management
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and provide actionable insights
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
- Proficiency with financial management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
