The Institute for Professional Training in Humanitarian Studies (IFP-EH) is a leading center dedicated to capacity building and inclusion in the humanitarian and development sectors.
About the Program – “Career Pivot Her”
Career Pivot Her is a 3-month structured empowerment and leadership development program designed for vulnerable young women, including single mothers, internally displaced girls, and students in precarious situations. The program aims to provide participants with the tools and networks necessary to pursue careers in humanitarian, development, diplomacy, or social entrepreneurship sectors.
This initiative is supported by a community of high-level African women leaders and professionals, and offers personalized guidance, leadership training, and financial support.
Objectives of the Program
● Empower young women with leadership, communication, and advocacy skills.
● Provide career mentorship from African and international women leaders.
● Support career development and entrepreneurial initiatives through financial aid.
● Create a strong pan-African network of women professionals.
● Ensure 12-month post-program follow-up and support.

Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for:
● Residing in Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo or Togo
● From vulnerable backgrounds (e.g. IDPs, single mothers, under-resourced students)
● Highly motivated to pursue a professional career in humanitarian or social impact sectors
● With a basic understanding of French or English
● Available to commit to the full 3-month program and 12-month follow-up

A Motivation Letter (max 2 pages) introducing:
○ Their background, life situation, and career aspirations
○ The reasons they wish to join the program
A copy of their national ID or any relevant identification
Any supporting document (CV, academic or community involvement, certificate, etc.)
