POSITION: Assistant Audit Manager / Audit Manager, Banking
LOCATION: Douala, Cameroon

Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Manage a portfolio of banking clients for audit and advisory engagements
- Plan, organise and lead engagements
- Ensure quality control and adherence to deadlines and budgets
- Provide technical supervision and support the development of teams (senior staff, junior staff, trainees)
- Manage client relationships
- Actively contribute to the firm's business development
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Excellent command of financial auditing for financial institutions and microfinance organisations, as well as the PCEC chart of accounts
- Proficiency in and application of relevant accounting and auditing standards (revised SYSCOHADA, IAS/IFRS, ISA)
- Ability to analyse financial statements and risks
- Experience in team management and project management
- Strong analytical and summarising skills
- Rigorous and methodical approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Leadership and the ability to bring a team together
- Organisational skills
- Ability to manage priorities
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Critical thinking and decision-making
- Customer focus
- Ability to work under pressure
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, management accounting, auditing or banking
- At least 6 years' experience in an audit or accounting firm or within the audit department of a financial institution
- French and/or English
