OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Secretary-Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of office and bookkeeping tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Answer, screen and record messages on all incoming telephone calls
  • Type letters, memorandums and reports
  • Open incoming mail and distribute to appropriate staff personnel
  • Maintain confidentiality of all assignments of a confidential nature
  • Maintain Human Resource Files and Tracking. Vacation and Sick Accrual
  • Responsible for maintain filing system(s)
  • Responsible for day to day administrative office management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • Minimum High School Diploma and at least 2 years accounting experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and writing as well as typing skills in English and French
  • knowledge of Sage accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
