Poste proposé : Project/Program Director - Douala
We are recruiting for our client in the Oil and Gas sector for the role of Project/Program Director in Douala, Cameroon (onsite).
Responsibilities:
The Project/Program Director will lead a wide range of activities across both onshore and offshore projects, including:
- Strategic Vision & Alignment: Developing and sustaining a program vision that aligns with the company’s broader business objectives.
- Resource Management: Managing personnel, budget, and equipment resources, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive risk management strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivating strong relationships and managing expectations with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Communication & Reporting: Delivering regular, transparent updates on progress, performance, and potential issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all program phases adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
This role goes beyond traditional project management, requiring strategic leadership and a commitment to driving the organization toward its business goals.
Profil recherché pour le poste : Project/Program Director - Douala
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in the Oil and Gas industry.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Project/Program management and strategic planning.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Fluent in both French and English.
