Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role you will work in an Agile, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment in which we strive to build Quality into every step of the SDLC.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- Perform exploratory manual, functional, and regression testing with root cause analysis on defects and producing clear, concise bug reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to iteratively improve frameworks, methodologies, and processes for Quality Management, test planning, test execution, and quality reporting.
- Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for our web (React JS) and mobile (React Native) applications.
- Use Playwright with TypeScript to automate web and API tests.
- Use Maestro or other tools to Automate mobile tests.
- Perform API E2E, Security testing using Postman and Swagger.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to analyze, debug, and resolve any application issues.
- Maintain documentation for QA procedures and protocols.
- Use ClickUp for task management and to ensure efficient workflow across the project lifecycle.
- Participate directly in Agile product development, including requirements analysis, requirements-based test planning, and test development.
- Work with other engineers and customer-facing support teams to identify, log, root-cause, triage, prioritize, and drive resolution of defects.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Good Cybersecurity culture.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
- Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with automation frameworks or tools (e.g Playwright, Selenium, Maestro, Appium ).
- Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) methodologies
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and understanding of Agile methodologies
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and technologies
- Willingness to work extended hours when required to meet deadlines and project demands.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions
- Profesional communication in French and in English.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- An analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work on several projects with a high level of commitment.
- Be adaptable and solution-oriented.
- Familiarity with React Native, React.js, Node.js, Firebase, Azure, AWS, TypeScript, Python, SQL.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Maestro, Detox, Postman, and Swagger.
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles.
