                          Electricians (Location: Douala/Yaoundé)

                                                            Missions:

The main mission of the post consists of producing and maintaining the smooth running of electrical connections, reduce the probability of accidents and optimize the access to electricity in every installation

 Your mission will consist of;

• Execute all electrical wiring plans for the well-functioning of lighting system, intercom and others; 

• Install devices, security alarm systems and others;

• Install security and electrical distribution elements (light switches, resistance and electrical panels etc.);

• Connect circuit and electrical network cables by ensuring the compatibility of its components;

• Prepare and assemble sheaths, and connect the cables on the inside; 

• Avoid system breakdowns by carrying out constant check-ups and replacing old cables, isolating them and cleaning the circuits, etc.;

• Carry out regular break down searches to identify dangers or dysfunctions, and repair or replace damaged units; 

                                                       Profiles sought after :

 Hold a vocational training diploma or an apprenticeship diploma as an electrician;

 Have 4 to 5 years of experience of work-related electrical projects;

 Hold indisputable aptitudes in using electrical tools and manuals (ex. Bare tongs; voltmeter, etc.) and be able to read diagrams and electrical plans;

 Have an extensive knowledge of safety procedures, reglementation and directives;

 Have critical thinking skills and the aptitude to solve problems;

 Have an excellent physical condition and the flexibility to put in long hours as well as work at night;

 Be confidential and rigurous ;

 Have good sense of organization; 

 Have a good communication and interpersonal skills;

 Speaking English would be an asset;

 Punctuality and Attendance ;

 Proactivity and flexibility (ability to take up a challenge);

 Team Spirit and prone to team work
