Job overview
VINKA is seeking a dynamic professional to join its team as Head of Accounting Finance (RCF). The primary responsibility of the RCF is to oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting, while leading the transformation of VINKA’s Finance Function into a true Business Partner for operational teams and functions.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
Role description
In collaboration with VINKA’s Management, the RCF defines the company’s financial strategy and ensures its implementation across relevant departments. The RCF is responsible for ensuring that VINKA achieves and maintains excellence in all accounting and financial matters across the network.
The scope of the Finance function includes (but is not limited to):
  • Ensuring excellence in national and consolidated accounting production, timely and high-quality financial reporting, cash flow and treasury management, accounting control, management control, and forecasting tools, all aligned with VINKA’s strategic objectives.
  • Leading the transformation of the Finance Function to align with best practices in efficiency, automation, speed, and reliability of financial and accounting processes.
  • Strengthening financial performance evaluation systems and implementing digital, forecasting, and data analytics tools to support decision-making and position Finance as a Business Partner to Management and Operational Functions.
  • Making strategic recommendations, particularly regarding growth, cost control, and business development.
  • Contributing to the implementation of VINKA’s development plan in coordination with other departments and functions.
Scope of responsibilities
The RCF will ensure that:
  • Accounting and financial reporting is accurate, reliable, and timely.
  • Risks are appropriately identified and managed.
  • A culture of continuous improvement is fostered.
  • Interactions between departments and/or functions are effective and aligned.
  • All accounting and financial processes are well-documented and properly followed.
  • Tools for production, control, and performance analysis are implemented and used to support decision-making by VINKA’s Management.
  • The Finance Function evolves and plays an active role in VINKA’s transformation, including digital transformation.
  • Financial Operations actively contribute to strategic planning.
  • The Accounting and Finance Department acts as a Business Partner to Management, providing insights and strategic advice through analytical and forecasting data.
  • The Accounting and Finance Department also serves as a Business Partner to operational teams and functions across VINKA.
Scope of responsibilitiesFinancial and accounting production
  • Ensure the reliability of general and analytical accounting and compliance with accounting standards, both locally and for VINKA’s consolidated accounts.
  • Guarantee the excellence of statutory financial information and reporting submitted to the network, within deadlines.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and social obligations (e.g. CNPS).
  • Manage relationships with auditors and tax authorities.
Accounting and Management Control
  • Perform second-level control of local accounting operations.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards aligned with VINKA’s objectives to support control and reporting.
  • Analyse and explain any significant or unusual variances.
  • Oversee management control in two dimensions: operational control to respond quickly to business needs, and financial control to address network-level issues.
Financing and Treasury Management
  • Analyse and forecast investment financing needs.
  • Select and optimise financing options based on project timelines.
  • Demonstrate proactivity and innovation in sourcing financing solutions.
  • Negotiate financing with banks and ensure efficient use of debt.
  • Organise and manage financial flows and treasury at both local and network levels.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
Financial Performance and Strategy
  • Produce profitability and financial performance analyses using management tools and data analytics.
  • Support decision-making by assessing the financial impact of strategic choices.
  • Optimise the budgeting process and its monitoring.
  • Manage and mitigate financial and regulatory risks in collaboration with Risk Management, business units, and other functions.
  • Contribute to VINKA’s strategic planning.
Finance Function Transformation
  • Digitise and automate processes within the Accounting and Finance Department.
  • Lead the transformation of the Finance Function and any related development projects.
  • Implement financial forecasting tools.
  • Monitor organisational trends and anticipate changes.
  • Manage change resulting from the Finance Function’s transformation.
Human Resources Management
  • Ensure the team has the necessary resources and skills to deliver all required accounting and financial services.
  • Supervise and motivate teams responsible for financial activities (treasury, accounting, management control, billing, collections, etc.).
  • Manage and develop talent within the department.

  • Proven experience in leading a financial management function.

  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience managing and coordinating a multi-country financial leadership team (strong listening skills, confident speaker, persuasive).
  • Knowledge of the professional services sector and operational models of Big 4-type firms.
Candidate profile
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5 or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Management Control. A DSCG or DEC (French accounting qualifications) would be an advantage.
  • A qualified professional currently holding a similar position in a Finance Department.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Additional experience in financial auditing would be a plus.
