Poste proposé : Cashier - Yaoundé
We are seeking for a reliable and efficient Cashier for one of our clients who will be working in a cellar. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers and will play a key role in providing a positive experience. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions accurately, handling cash, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments securely.
- Provide change and issue receipts to customers.
- Greet customers warmly and answer their questions in a friendly manner.
- Assist customers with inquiries about product locations and promotions.
- Bag or package purchased items carefully.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.
- Help with light stock maintenance and shelf-facing near the checkout zone when required.

Qualifications and Experience
- Age: Max 35 years.
- Education: : Min Advance level/Professional qualification in Commerce, Sales, Computerized Accounting and Management.
- Experience: Prior experience as a cashier in a supermarket is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer savvy, Microsoft Office package.
- Mathematical Skills: Good numerical skills for handling cash and giving correct change.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English/French and local languages.
Skills :
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Friendly and customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Neat and presentable appearance.
