                                                Carpenter (Location : Douala/Yaoundé).

                                                            Missions :

The main mission will consist of designing, making and installing wooden frameworks and frames needed as structures for houses and other construction projects:

 Your missions will consist of;

·         Reading of plans, drawings and diagrams to fully understand what is required of you;

·         Take measures and calculate the dimensions and quality of required materials;

·         Cut and level lumber and other materials (ex. Glass fiber) according to measurements;

·         Manufacture window frames, doors, stairs and building frames by using raw materials or prefabricated elements;

·         Laying floors, roofs or drywall ensuring thy are leveled and compatible;

·         Cut up and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other elements, and install them at their assigned spot;

·         Inspect the premises and carry out repairs as well as maintenance;

·         Build scaffolding and other structures of construction;

Profiles sought after  :

§  Hold a vocational training diploma or an apprenticeship diploma as a carpenter;

§  Have 4 to 5 years of experience of work-related electrical projects;

§  Have a proven experience as a carpenter;

§  Have a practical experience of work with materials used in carpentry, installation methods and construction;

§  Master the use of electrical equipment, manuals and tools of measure (electric saws, hammers, rules etc.);

§  Be apt at reading documents and technical drawings;

§  Be willing to constantly respect safety directives;

§  Have a good basic comprehension in mathematics;

§  Be enduring and in great physical condition;

§  Be confidential and rigurous ;

§  Be organized ;

§  Be autonomous ;

§  Have good communication and interpersonal skills;

§  Speaking English would be an advantage;

§  Punctuality and Attendance ;

§  Proactivity and Flexibility (ability to take up challenge);

§  Team spirit prone to team work;
