To accompany us in this light, we are in need of a Sales Assistant who will support the sales team by collecting and compiling sales data, creating reports, tracking performance, and ensuring smooth coordination between sales, marketing, and other departments. This is an ideal candidate shall report to the Sales Director and must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to perform data analysis, with a strong knack for teamwork in achieving collective goals.
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
Ensure that sales processes are optimized and introduce automation wherever possible to reduce manual effort
Ensure that right tools that fit the sales needs for managing client relationships and tracking sales activities are implemented (CRM, Reporting, data analysis, etc…)
Ensure that the team knows to use the tools effectively.
Set up Develop and maintain reports on performance, forecasts, and key metrics.
Create and update dashboards to track KPIs and support data-driven decision-making.
Ensure that CRM tools and reporting software are able to track, analyze, and report on sales data.
Ensure leads are tracked through existing tools and provide accurate, up-to-date customer and lead information.
Prepare sales documents, including proposals, contracts, and quotes, for customers.
Ensure effective communication between sales teams, marketing, and other departments.
Ensure Effective communication on sales activities throughout the Company
Schedule meetings and manage team calendars to ensure timely coordination.
Support new team members with onboarding and training on systems and sales tools.
Manage the Sales Director’s calendar, travel, and expense reports.
Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and materials for client meetings.
Support the planning and execution of sales events and promotional activities.
Requirements
Previous experience in sales, administrative support, or a related field.
Strong proficiency with CRM tools and reporting software.
Familiarity with sales performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
