About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our team in Douala and play a vital role in driving traffic and sales on our e-commerce website, www.glotelho.cm . You will be responsible for crafting compelling product descriptions, informative blog posts, and other engaging content that resonates with our target audience and effectively positions our products.

Glotelho is looking for talented and detail-oriented Content Writers to join our e-commerce team. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating compelling content across various product categories, aiming to attract and engage customers and drive product sales.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- Conduct in-depth research on various product lines to gain a thorough understanding of their features, benefits, and target audience.
- Develop high-quality product descriptions that are informative, engaging, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
- Create clear and concise content that highlights product features, specifications, and unique selling points.
- Craft compelling blog posts and articles on relevant industry trends, product launches, and customer buying guides.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content pieces.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date on current e-commerce trends and best practices for content marketing.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Qualifications:
- Experience writing content for e-commerce websites or similar platforms a plus.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content optimization.
- Excellent research and writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Proven ability to adapt writing style to suit different content types (product descriptions, blog posts, etc.).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus.
- Fluency in French and English (favourable).
- Passion for e-commerce and a strong understanding of online customer behavior.
- Ability to translate complex product information into easy-to-understand and engaging content.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- A creative and innovative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas.
