Call for Volunteers to Join Nexus for Peace and Gender Empowerment (NEPEG)
Nexus for Peace and Gender Empowerment (NEPEG) is a nonprofit organization working to promote peacebuilding, gender equality, and social justice in Cameroon. We are seeking passionate and committed young professionals to join our team as volunteers.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand your professional network, and contribute to meaningful work in peace and gender empowerment.
We are currently recruiting for the following position: Volunteer Communications Officer
Location: Remote (with occasional in-person participation)
Type: Part-time volunteer

Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- Manage NEPEG’s social media pages and grow our digital presence.
- Create compelling and engaging content.
- Draft press releases, newsletters, and website updates.
- Ensure NEPEG is visible during key international days and campaigns.
- Explore innovative strategies to keep NEPEG visible even in low-activity periods.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Background in Communications, Journalism, PR, or related field (students and young graduates encouraged).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or other design tools.
- Self-motivated, creative, and passionate about nonprofit communications.
