SENIOR ACCOUNT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, CORPORATE BANKING
Reporting Line: Head, Corporate Banking
Number Of Position: 2
Job Grade: To be determined based on background experience
Type Of Contract: Permanent
Location: Douala – Yaoundé, Cameroon
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
JOB PURPOSE
  • Implement the sales strategy in relation to clients in your portfolio and the management team's overall objectives
  • Identify new clients and offer them suitable products
  • Follow up with prospective clients
  • Listen to clients and anticipate their needs
  • Advise clients and recommend products that meet their needs and expectations
  • Liaise with internal departments within the bank to meet clients' expectations, with a view to ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Develop the portfolio of clients and prospects under your responsibility
JOB PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Key tasks and additional activities)
  • Drive sales of the bank's products and services to corporate clients
  • Establish new leads, secure meetings, pitch to clients and offer banking advice
  • Originate commercial loans and identify cross-selling opportunities in every customer relationship
  • Connect priorities & challenges to Solutions in order to create value for the bank and its customers
  • Maximize account profitability by selling other products and services to the bank's customers
  • Drive collections in customer's account which will be used for FX and other businesses
  • Identify and develop banking relationships with conglomerates institutions
  • Ensure proper documentation throughout the credit application and availment process
  • Sourcing for and monitoring of customer's tenured investment / facilities
  • Respond promptly and satisfactorily to customer's daily request and complaints
  • Prepare weekly and monthly statistics/performance reports for management use
  • Reconcile all transactions on customer's accounts where and when necessary
  • Initiate and carry out recovery action on non-performing credits facilities
  • Maintain database of the customers operational records including the existing and prospective customer data
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Corporate banking
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
JOB DIMENSION
  • At least (03) three years' professional experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of banking internal processes and policies. A good understanding of the Financial Service Sector
  • Good knowledge of Cameroon financial markets and regulatory requirements
  • Sales and commercial negotiation techniques
  • Assemble the service proposals
  • Assemble the credit applications
  • Reporting methods
  • Using Amplitude Software
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of a four-year degree in banking and finance, business, marketing, an ITB Level II qualification, or any other related discipline
  • Bilingualism (French – English) would be an advantage
  • Office software (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Integrity / high level of Honesty and loyalty
  • Good interpersonal skills / Ability to listen
  • Organization / Methodical approach / Attention to detail
  • Self-control
  • Strong numerical skills
