Description
As a Heavy Duty Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to wheel loaders, excavators, and trucks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance, providing essential technical support to our clients.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
The main tasks for this position include:
- Executing a full range of mechanical and electrical repairs on heavy-duty equipment.
- Conducting thorough diagnostic tests to identify faults and determine repair needs.
- Assembling new machinery and verifying its operational readiness.
- Providing expert technical support and product demonstrations to our clients.
- Assisting in the offloading and technical inspection of newly arrived equipment.
- Collaborating with fellow technicians on complex projects and providing support as needed
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
We are seeking a candidate who possesses a strong technical background and the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least two years of proven experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment. Experience with the specific types of machinery mentioned above is highly desirable.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Complete fluency in both English and French, as this is essential for internal communication and client interactions.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
