ready to work across the national territory.
The position is based in Douala.
JOB LEVEL: 2 / JOB GRADE: 2B
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
JOB PURPOSE
  • Responsible for ensuring daily compensation of all remittances (Western Union, Rapid Transfer, MoneyGram etc..) operations and maintain accurate and suspense free accounts.
  • Supervision of partner activities and proofing of accounts of the retail operations perimeter.
  • Ensure timely applicative and functional assistance to operators across branches to enable them to serve our valued clients within well-defined TAT limits in all remittance’s operations.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
  • Enforce groupwide standard policies and procedures.
  • Review documentation for processed transactions to ensure strict respect of exchange regulations.
  • Ensure that remittances service delivery timeframe is within the defined SLA and TAT.
  • Conduct periodical controls set in the procedures across the affiliate.
  • Ensure daily processing of settlement for all remittances.
  • Ensure the reconciliation of remittances accounts daily –there should be no balance mismatch between remittances product and CBA, investigate and resolve any outstanding items identified.
  • Prompt investigation and response to customers and partners claims.
  • Ensure statutory declarations eg Pre-financing, Balance of Payment, are done for remittances transactions.
  • Ensure proofing/reconciliation of branch accounts: immediate credit, suspense accounts, teller differences, transit accounts...
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
JOB PROFILE
  • Experience : 3 years in banking operations
  • Education : Minimum University degree (BAC + 3)
Skills & Knowledge
  • Ability to detect breaches in regulations.
  • General understanding of Bank products, foreign exchange local regulations.
Quality oriented.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize the tasks to perform.
  • Good level of security sense and fraud awareness.
