JOB PURPOSE
To lead the technical servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs of all Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) in the fleet. The Master Technician is responsible for diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults, guiding junior technicians, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and safety regulations.

To lead the technical servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs of all Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) in the fleet. The Master Technician is responsible for diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults, guiding junior technicians, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR
ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIR
- Perform in-depth diagnostics on engine, transmission, braking, suspension, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Repair or replace defective components using specialized tools and equipment.
- Use OBD scanners and manufacturer software to identify and solve issues.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks as per OEM recommendations.
- Ensure all maintenance is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Inspect vehicles post-service and certify roadworthiness.
- Guide and support junior technicians in daily tasks.
- Provide on-the-job training, technical advice, and performance feedback.
- Assist in evaluating technician skill levels and recommending training.
- Identify required parts and tools for specific jobs.
- Ensure correct usage and maintenance of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation of work done and spare parts used.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Diploma or Certification in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in LMV repair and diagnostics, with at least 1–2 years at a senior or master technician level.
- Manufacturer-specific training at Toyota is an advantage.
- Valid LMV driver’s license.
