Mission : 

Manage the planning and the design of the overall Network in line with company business strategy.

Ensure adequate architecture actions are performed at the right time and within the given constraints to meet the company business objectives. Design and lead the implementation of network architecture based on business requirements and technology strategies, as well as to rectify gaps and pain points within the current state. Leads the assessment of the capacity and resource utilization of network Infrastructures and search tools, components, for hardware and software management. Approves and modifies the designs and architectures by reviewing end-user topology, security, performance and interoperability requirements. Oversees and facilitates the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations. Consults on hardware or software deployment projects to deliver innovative, cost-effective and efficient technical solutions to the organization.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong knowledge of network architecture for telecom industry;
• Solid Understanding of Mobile CS/PS Core & IP Planning;
• 2G/3G/4G data Traffic Routes Planning and Design;
• Good knowledge of SIP&TDM interconnects technology;
• 2G/3G/4G data and IP Systems Dimensioning and Design
• Good knowledge routing & switching protocols;
• Good knowledge of Core Network virtualization and cloudification
• Advanced working understanding of the information technology environment of a telecom company

OBJECTIVES:

• Assess and consolidate all Core Planning CAPEX projects and submit to Network Group Finance for budget process preparation;
• Participate in supplier selection for the delivery of requisite Core Network solution;
• Plan and manage Core Network Planning budget;
• Provide directive / guidance for design of an optimized Core Network nodes; 
• Follow up Core project execution with the team to ensure project capitalization is done as planned;
• Assign technical lead for Core Network projects;
• Assign the right Core Network Planning resource for any raised issue or request from internal customers that need Core Network Planning team involvement;
• Follow up with suppliers any gap that is being raised during Core project execution;
• Prepare Scope and Swap plans for planned activities;
• Follow up to ensure permanent compliance of Business Continuity Process and Disaster Recovery Plan recommendations;
• Explore vendors enhanced products and features roadmaps as a proactive preparation of design architecture reviews;
• Bring support to any requirements coming from regulation or any unplanned revenue increase initiative from the business;
• Prepare PDP of Core Network Planning unit and share with Human resource team;
• Elaborate Core Network Planning team IPF;
• Evaluation performance of Core Network Planning team members;
• Approved change related to Core Network;
• Ensure the providing of all needed documents for Core related projects to CPG for project planning process;
• Coordinate the elaboration of Core Network Planning INP;
• Coordinate the elaboration of SLAs with internal customers;
• Provide monthly financial, PDP, and project report to the management;
• Define job profiles and job descriptions of Core Network Planning team members;
• Perform needed action for staff recruitment within Data Planning unit
• Ensure the providing of monthly KPI report for the unit;
• Provide key quarterly achievement and quarterly plan of the unit to the management;
• Validation of process and procedure governing Core Network Planning activities;
• Validation of Core Network Policies;
• Participate on training courses as booked or as recommended by HR.

Profil : 

• B.Sc. in Electrical/ Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing projects, with experience in supervising/managing others;
• Experience working in a medium to large organization;
• Experience with third party IT solutions providers Network Planning and Design;
• VoLTE Solution;
• Architecture engineering;
• Digital services and ICT solutions;
• IP Routing and Switching;
• IP Network security;
• MPLS applications and Traffic engineering;
• TOGAF 9 Level 1&2, ITIL V3 Foundation, or equivalent would be advantageous.

Spécialisation : Informatique / High Tech / Telecoms

Niveau d’expérience : Expérimenté (de 6 à 10 ans)

Langues :
