We’re hiring a SENIOR EHS OFFICER for our EHS/CSR Department localized to
Meyomessala.

Required profile

A-Level +3/4 in EHS domain or Civil Engineering type with a specialization in EHS

Experience of 05 years in a similar position including 01 year as a manager

Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental management systems, environmental
releases, incidents, incident investigations, EHS auditing techniques, ISO 14001 & 9001, OHSAS
18001

Good knowledge of English, MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint ..) and business software

Rigorous, organized, good instructor, force of proposal, reactive

General Assignments

Ensure the implementation of the standards of the EHS management system in agreement with
the General Management
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Carry out prevention and awareness actions in EHS areas
Assist and raise awareness of operational staff in the EHS field
Actively contribute to the policy and actions implemented in favor of the environment
Monitor and update objectives, HSE indicators, reports and analyses

Main Activities

Implement actions resulting from ehs audits in accordance with company guidelines (LATEXPRO)

Apply the procedures of the safety system and the environment and ensure regulatory monitoring

Ensure the deployment of the EHS team in order to maintain good relations with the forest
conservation organizations, the administration, environment authorities
Propose action plans relating to environmental threats that could lead to conflict situations with NGOs
and/or the government
_Implement the actions resulting from the environmental policy of waste management and ensure the
application of good water treatment methods (especially waste water)
Organize health campaigns to fight against diseases (malaria, typhoid, Covid, etc.)
Educate staff on the procedures of the company’s HSE system and the proper use of associated
equipment
Assist the Operational Departments in their relations with suppliers or service providers on all matters
relating to Occupational Health and Safety
Participate in internal and external security audits
Participate in the analysis of Situations at risk, incidents and accidents
Perform all internal security training
Participate in security audits of subcontractors.
