Poste proposé : Tax Manager (Bilingual) - Douala
SAASA B2E is seeking a bilingual, experienced, and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions for one of its clients, a leading player in the manufacturing and distribution of fast-moving consumer goods across Africa.The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations while optimizing tax strategies to reduce liabilities. This role requires solid expertise in taxation and accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with finance, legal departments, and external partners.
The Tax Director will have the following key responsibilities:
- Assist senior management in formulating tax planning strategies to mitigate tax risks.
- Proactively participate in tax audits and inspections; prepare tax documents, respond to information requests, and negotiate with local tax authorities.
- Prepare statutory tax accounts and reports on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Prepare and review various regular tax declarations within the required deadlines.
- Conduct daily tax checks, monitor, and resolve tax-related issues.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Director.

REQUIRED PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: BACC +5 in Accounting, Specialized in Tax
- Professional Experience : At least 08 years ‘experience in tax management, primarily in a large trading company/processing plant or preferably in a type 4 audit firm or similar.
- Language: Must be fully bilingual in French and English
- Age: Between 33 and 45 years old.
Technical Skills:
- Excellent communication,
- Organizational and coordination skills;
- Ability to plan and execute;
- Experience in team training and management;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Established professional network in the relevant field.
Personal Qualities:
- Responsibility, Dedication, Integrity, Self-discipline, Rigor, and high motivation.
Mobility: Must be able to work abroad (Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Burkina Faso—i.e., in French-speaking African countries where the company is represented
