Description du poste

a Digital Channels Supervisor

This is à leadership role accountable for the delivery of Remittances & Mobile Money business in each
affiliate. The role is to distribute and sell Digital remittance & Mobile money products in a dormant

market and position our digital products (Mobil- Money/Ecobank Mobile/Ecobank Pay/Ecobank
Online) as undisputed No Tin country of coverage as per group 5year plan. Product conception will
b- handled centrally for implementation and sales in affiliates in conformity with product standards,
process and procedures. Sales & Distribution of Remittances & Mobile Money shall be 60% Digitally
sold and 40% reliance on physical locations; particularly agent and merchant networks.

Product Management
Ensures appropriate product pricing in local market with an ROI of 15 -20%

Collaborate with Group Resource to maintain and develop Digital Remittances & Mobile Money
Products

Understand and provid- product knowledge, training and guidanc- to Sales team.

Maintain excellent communication to support productiv- external and internal relationships and
the resolution of problematic issues.

Stake Holder Management (DSA/Distributors/Merchant, Branch and TELCO partner support
Manage issues from branch resources, agents and partners to ensur- that they are all resolved.
Manage activities of assigned Sales Agents
Co-ordinate support for all agents and partners from acquisition to maintenance.

Maintain a prospective merchant and TELCO partners register.

Co-ordinat- communication to customers, branch champions and TELCO partners.

Build a strong network to support the sharing of best practice with the Sales and Marketing teams
in order to enhance cross-functional cooperation and achiev- sales targets.

Monitor Service Level Agreements and ensure effective delivery of services to both internal and
external customers.

Provides business justification for new product development.

– KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Revenue generation (and Growth Analysis)

– Deliver revenue budgets/targets

– Track affiliate performance against budget/target.

– Recommend and implement remedial measures aimed at addressing performance gaps.

Drive transactions in key send market

Marketing and sales promotions

– Co-ordinate all promotion activities (including agreed marketing activities) to create product
awareness and drive transaction numbers.

– Liais- with agent/partners and giv- support to ensure success of their promotion activities.

– Liais- with Ecobank Branches to deliver joint promotion activities.

Processes and procedures

Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to.
– Defin- and get approvals for new processes to suit business needs.
– Review and modify where applicable existing processes to suit business needs.

– Account for all product AML audits to ensure full compliance.

REPORTING:

Head Digital Channels (Sales & Usage)

EXPERIENC- & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking/finance field
– Experience in Digital will be an asset

– Excellent experience of running commercialization globally, performing business due
diligence.

– Good experience with Product and Capabilities Management.
– Strong written and verbal communications.

– Ideally to have three + years of experience in Remittances / wireless & mobile industry or
mobile banking.

– Commercial acumen.
– Relationship Building.

– Innovation and creativity.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in a related field (Banking, Information Technology, Finance or Sales, etc.)

– Basic Treasury skills especially in Foreign Exchange.

– Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

Strong communicator both verbal and written.

– Analytical skills for business cost-benefit presentation.

– Results driven.

– Fluency in English and French.
