Poste proposé : Software QA Engineer - Douala
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you’ll be immersed in an Agile, collaborative environment, where you’ll help build quality into every step of our software development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with our development and QA teams, learning and applying testing best practices to ensure high-quality digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct exploratory, manual, functional, and regression testing, learning how to identify defects and create clear, concise bug reports.
- Collaborate across teams to understand and refine quality management processes, test planning, and execution.
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites for web (React.js) and mobile (React Native) applications.
- Learn and use Playwright with TypeScript for web and API test automation.
- Gain exposure to mobile test automation with tools like Maestro.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger to validate functionality and security.
- Work closely with developers to analyze and debug issues, understanding root causes and developing solutions.
- Document QA processes and best practices, contributing to team knowledge.
- Use ClickUp to manage tasks and ensure efficient workflow in an Agile environment.
- Actively participate in product development cycles, including requirements analysis, test planning, and execution.
Profil recherché pour le poste : Software QA Engineer - Douala
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman is a plus.
- Interest in learning automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Maestro.
- Foundational knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing processes.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team.
- Professional proficiency in French and English is preferred. Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to React.js, React Native, Node.js, Firebase, TypeScript, or Python is beneficial.
- Interest in automation and scripting with tools like Playwright, Maestro, or Postman.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.
