Job Description
As a key player in Cameroon's cocoa industry, ofi is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to spearhead and elevate our mechanical operations through technical excellence and leadership.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
The Project Engineer Lead will oversee and drive:
- The technical aspects and team leadership of the new dryer installation from start to finish.
- The project documentation management.
- Problem solving approach ~ ensure to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Measure of the project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Project risk management, evaluation, and mitigation strategies.
- People management ~ ensuring engagement of project team and alignment on respective missions and responsibilities.
- Overall operational effectiveness and efficiency of deliverables
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Bachelor/ master’s degree in project management/engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in industrial and multinational environment.
- Project Management Experience or PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in French and English (speaking and writing)
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Risk mitigation and operational excellence.
