Description
The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving high-value sales, managing key accounts, and executing strategic marketing activities. You will act as a technical consultant to our clients, ensuring that our machinery solutions—from motor vehicles to heavy-duty equipment—perfectly align with their operational needs.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Director to develop and execute quarterly and annual sales strategies tailored to the Center Region market.
- Business Development: Proactively identify, engage, and convert high-potential B2B and B2G (Government) clients.
- Technical Consulting: Interpret complex technical specifications and manuals to recommend the right equipment solutions; advise the workshop team on custom assembly designs based on client feedback.
- Relationship Management: Maintain a "customer-first" approach through consistent follow-ups, site visits, and long-term relationship building with existing and prospective buyers.
- Lead Management: Oversee the conversion of digital leads (Facebook/Online) into finalized sales.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed challenging sales targets while maintaining high standards of professional service.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to keep CAMCO at the forefront of the Cameroonian market.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Education: Minimum of HND (or higher) in Business Management, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of professional sales experience, with a proven track record in the Automotive, Construction, or Heavy Equipment industries.
Language Skills: Absolute fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM reporting systems.
Competencies: * Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead by example in a multi-cultural environment.
- Deep understanding of technical machinery and the ability to explain complex features to non-technical clients.
Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of professional sales experience, with a proven track record in the Automotive, Construction, or Heavy Equipment industries.
