Poste proposé : Senior Embedded Software Developer - Bangangté
Clemios is a leading provider of customized technology solutions, specializing in outsourcing services for clients across Europe and North America. We’re currently seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our team in Bangangté, Cameroon, and contribute to innovative projects in the electronics and mechatronics industries.
Our clients specialize in developing printed circuit boards for various industries, including automotive, industrial, energy technology, consumer electronics, and medical technology. Their expertise extends to developing electronics and software for mechatronic systems and automation components.
As a Senior Embedded Software Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize software for embedded systems. You will work on microcontroller platforms and embedded Linux environments, ensuring software meets high performance and reliability standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to both software architecture and implementation.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize software for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, STM32) and embedded Linux platforms.
- Develop communication protocols similar to CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MQTT or TCP/IP
- Design software architectures and develop software concepts and specifications.
- Implement and test software modules, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components.
- Utilize modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.

What You Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in embedded software development.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming, experience with microcontroller platforms, and embedded Linux (Yocto or similar). Deep understanding of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I²C, CAN, UART, LIN, Ethernet, MQTT, TCP/IP).
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Location: Willingness to live and work in Bangangté, Cameroon.
Qualifications:
- Education: General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Language: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
