Description
The Sales Supervisor is a key management role with significant autonomy and responsibility. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed ambitious sales goals. This position requires a leader who can motivate and guide a sales team, analyze performance, and foster strong, long-term relationships with customers, particularly those in the automotive and heavy vehicle business.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
  • Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets for motor vehicles and other key equipment.
  • Ensuring a thorough and effective follow-up process for all potential buyers, from initial contact to final sale.
  • Developing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to meet revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Identifying and cultivating a growing base of new and repeat customers, with a focus on growing the number of VIP and corporate clients.
  • Using logical and analytical methods to identify market trends and resolve sales-related challenges.
  • Proactively reaching out to new prospective customers in the field and maintaining consistent relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Understanding customer needs to recommend the most suitable vehicle features, equipment, and services.
  • Effectively managing time and resources to balance competing demands and ensure all work is completed.
  • Planning and attending marketing events and tradeshows to promote CAMCO’s motor vehicle and equipment portfolio.
  • Utilizing various market networks, customer referrals, and other channels to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
We are seeking a high-performing professional with a proven track record in the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
  • Education: A minimum of a Diploma or higher in Business Management, Marketing, or Sales.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of working experience in a sales supervisory or management role within the automobile (cars, trucks) or heavy equipment business.
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
    • Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic sales plans.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor sales performance and identify market opportunities.
    • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
    • Experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, including VIP clients and fleet managers.
    • Comfortable working independently and under minimum supervision.
    • Ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment.
