GIDEON Informatics is a growing online medical software and bioinformatics company whose success is rooted in its highly diverse global scientific team. We seek an experienced, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Medical Researcher/Data Entry Specialist to help us serve our user community of public health, microbiology, and point-of-care professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct secondary research to supplement and enhance existing data
• Enter new data into the expert computer system
• Critically review existing datasets for errors and proactively fix them
• Implement amendments as required by the supervising editor

• Possess outstanding written English skills
• Are fluent in spoken English (C2 level is a must)
• Can demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
• Have previous research experience
• Can analyze large amounts of scientific text to extract the relevant information
• You are a competent and avid reader of medical literature
• Possess intermediate computer literacy (skilled with using programs such as Word and Excel)
• Interest in the field of infectious diseases will be highly advantageous
• A background in medicine or epidemiology will be highly advantageous
