(01) AUTOMOBILE HELPER
JOB PURPOSE
To assist mechanics, electricians, and technicians in carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs). The Automobile Helper supports workshop operations by handling basic tasks and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
(01) AUTOMOBILE HELPER
JOB PURPOSE
To assist mechanics, electricians, and technicians in carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs). The Automobile Helper supports workshop operations by handling basic tasks and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPPORT TO TECHNICIANS
SUPPORT TO TECHNICIANS
- Help remove and refit parts under the supervision of senior technicians.
- Carry tools, parts, and equipment to/from the work area.
- Align parts and components during repairs or installation.
- Clean vehicle components before and after repair.
- Drain engine oils and assist in oil changes and greasing.
- Refill coolant, windshield fluids, and clean battery terminals.
- Keep the workshop area clean, organized, and free from oil spills or debris.
- Clean tools and return them to the proper place after use.
- Assist in moving vehicles within the workshop area under guidance.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Minimum primary or secondary school education.
- 0-2 years of experience in a workshop or garage environment.
- Experience assisting in LMV or HCV maintenance is an advantage.
