JOB TITLE:Health Domain Manager
based in Douala

Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
Main Missions
Ensure the strategic, operational, and financial management of the Health Insurance business line, guaranteeing high‑quality operations, portfolio profitability, contractual compliance, and the sustainable growth of revenue in line with Management’s strategic guidelines.
Main Activities
  • Structure and maintain an exhaustive register of all requests within the Health Department (quotations, contracts, endorsements, guarantees of coverage, claims, incoming and outgoing correspondence).
  • Build, maintain, and develop sustainable relationships with business introducers and market brokers.
  • Contribute to the implementation of profitable revenue growth programs.
  • Actively participate in the retention and qualitative growth of the Health portfolio.
  • Coordinate the preparation of responses to tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Ensure the technical, financial, and contractual quality of all submitted proposals.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the contractual provisions of collaboration agreements.
  • Produce and submit monthly consolidated reports on Health activities for management review.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Health Insurance (policy administration, claims management, contracts, and agreements).
  • Solid understanding of CIMA regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proven expertise in Health contract and claims management processes.
  • Ability to analyze technical and financial reports.
  • Good understanding of profitability mechanisms and risk monitoring.
Special Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing operational teams.
  • Strong command of reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Availability and flexibility to effectively monitor teams and strategic projects.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • High level of rigor in meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and professional ethics.
Prerequisites
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s +4/5 in Insurance, Finance, Management, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 to 8 years’ experience in Non‑Life Insurance, including 3 to 5 years in Health portfolio management or similar roles within a reputable Non‑Life insurance company or brokerage firm.
  • Languages: Bilingual (French/English).
