Marketing and Communication Officer
Department: Marketing Communications
Location: Douala, Cameroon
Reports to: Head of Marketing and Communication
Duration: CDD (Renewable based on performance)
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
MISSIONS
The Marketing and Communication Officer actively support the department in enhancing and promoting the company’s brand. He/she contributes to producing professional content, managing digital platforms, executing marketing campaigns, and strengthening both internal and external communication. This role combines creativity and analytical thinking, with a particular focus on social media management, graphic design, and daily operational support to the Head of Marketing & Communication.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies and campaigns aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Design high-quality visual content (flyers, posters, videos, presentations, social media graphics, etc.).
  • Manage and animate all digital platforms: social media, website, newsletters.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with the company’s visual identity and brand positioning across all materials.
  • Support internal communication initiatives and the promotion of institutional or corporate events.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant information for the creation of updated and meaningful content.
  • Conduct market and industry research to track trends, analyze competition, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Provide daily operational support to the Head of Marketing and Communication in the execution of ongoing projects and initiatives.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in communication, branding, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Excellent command of graphic and audiovisual creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong writing skills in both English and French (advanced level required).
  • High creativity with strong attention to detail, solid understanding of visual identity, and ability to produce consistent and professional materials.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
