Job Description
Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Yaounde
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
The Accounting Assistant will support the finance department in daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, proficient in accounting software, and knowledgeable in local tax regulations.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
Key Responsibilities
1. Tax Compliance & Declarations
  • Prepare and file timely monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns
  • Assist with ensuring accurate calculation and payment of all taxes on time.
  • Maintain organized records of all tax documents, declarations, and receipts for audit purposes.
  • Stay updated on changes in local tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
2. CNPS & Social Security Management ·        
  •   Process and file monthly CNPS declarations for all employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and timely remittance of CNPS contributions.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records related to social security and pension contributions.
  •   Handle any CNPS-related inquiries or audits in collaboration with HR.
3. Accounting Operations
  •   Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
4. Software & System Management
  • Utilize accounting software to record transactions and generate reports.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial platforms.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of accounting tools and processes.
  • Generate and analyze financial data to assist in decision-making.
5. Administrative & Compliance Support ·        
  •   Assist with internal and external audit preparations.
  •   Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial documents.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, tax authorities, and auditors as needed.
  • Perform other ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Required:

» Niveau d'expérience: Expérimenté
» Années d'expérience: Entre 2 an et 3 ans
» Niveau Académique Minimum: Licence
