Call for Volunteers to Join Nexus for Peace and Gender Empowerment (NEPEG)
Nexus for Peace and Gender Empowerment (NEPEG) is a nonprofit organization working to promote peacebuilding, gender equality, and social justice in Cameroon. We are seeking passionate and committed young professionals to join our team as volunteers.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand your professional network, and contribute to meaningful work in peace and gender empowerment.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions: Volunteer Programs Officer
Location: Remote (with occasional in-person participation)
Type: Part-time volunteer

Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- Represent NEPEG at external events, conferences, and workshops.
- Scout opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and calls for proposals.
- Design activities and campaigns to keep NEPEG active both online and onsite.
- Develop activity workplans and maintain networks of partners and stakeholders.
- Support concept note and proposal writing.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Background in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Peacebuilding, International Relations, or related fields.
- Strong networking, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Interest in program development, advocacy, and partnership-building.
- Ability to work independently and represent NEPEG professionally.
