Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Import Export Assistant located in Yaoundé. The Import Export Assistant will manage international trade operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include coordinating import and export shipments, preparing and reviewing shipping documentation, communicating with suppliers and clients, and monitoring supply chain logistics. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to efficiently manage the movement of goods across international borders.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Strong knowledge of Import and Export processes and procedures
- Familiarity with International Trade and International Business practices
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective supplier and client coordination
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing shipping documentation and logistics
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and tools for tracking shipments and managing data
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in import/export, supply chain, or logistics roles is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred
