Poste proposé : IT Security Analyst - Yaoundé
We are seeking a skilled IT Security Analyst to safeguard our organization’s information systems and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will monitor, assess, and respond to security threats, ensuring that networks, applications, and data remain secure and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security alerts for potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Configure and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus solutions, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure secure system architecture, application deployment, and cloud security.
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
- Stay current with emerging threats, security trends, and regulatory requirements.
Profil recherché pour le poste : IT Security Analyst - Yaoundé
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT security, network security, or cybersecurity operations.
- Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+.
- Knowledge of cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in scripting or automation for security monitoring (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Familiarity with compliance and data protection regulations relevant to Cameroon.
