The Encourager Association, a non-profit and non-denominational organization, is seeking a Community and Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Buea, Cameroon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about community building, social media marketing, and event management.
Position: Community and Social Media Coordinator
Location: Buea, Cameroon (Work remotely from our office)
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
- Plan, coordinate, and execute community events and initiatives that align with our mission.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience across various platforms.
- Create engaging content for our social media channels, including posts, graphics, and videos, to promote events and share our mission.
- Monitor social media trends and respond promptly to messages, comments, and inquiries to foster a supportive online community.
- Engage with local communities and partners to build strong relationships and increase our impact.
- Manage event logistics, from inception to completion, ensuring each event is impactful and successful.
- Collaborate with team members to create innovative strategies for community outreach and engagement.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
- Experience in social media marketing, event planning, community engagement, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and content creation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
